Pierluigi Rizzato, padovano, fotografo da oltre 40 anni, si dedica con particolare passione e impegno alla fotografia naturalistica. La realizzazione delle sue immagini coniuga una profonda conoscenza delle caratteristiche dei soggetti, acquisita attraverso studi e ricerche, oltre ad una paziente osservazione sul campo. È uno dei componenti della squadra italiana della FIAF, con la quale ha vinto 14 Coppe del Mondo NATURA FIAP (conquistando il 1° posto individuale assoluto nel 2003 e nel 2016 e un 2° posto nel 2014) e 9 Trofei Odette Bretscher. Ha vinto oltre 680 premi in concorsi fotografici internazionali in 62 paesi del mondo, oltre a 150 premi nazionali. Nel 2013 viene designato “Fotografo dell’Anno FIAF ” e nell’occasione viene pubblicato il libro dal titolo “Istinto animale”. Nel 2014 ha ricevuto l’onorificenza MFIAP (Maitre Photographe de la FIAP). Nel 2019 ha ricevuto l’onorificenza EFIAP/d3 (Excellence de la Federation Internazionale de l’Art Photographique Diamond 3) – primo fotografo in Italia assieme a Giuseppe Tomelleri ad aver raggiunto questo traguardo. Nel 2022, in Oman, ha ricevuto l’onorificenza HonEFIAP, Eccellenza Onoraria FIAP, massima distinzione della FIAP (Federation de l’Art Photographique) in considerazione del lavoro e della tecnica nel campo dell’arte fotografica.
E’ l’unico fotografo italiano ad avere le tre massime onorificenze FIAP.
Attualmente è Direttore del Servizio Etico della FIAP.
“SAVANE AFRICANE”
Viaggio nelle grandi savane dell’ecosistema del Serengeti, situato al nord della Tanzania, culla dell’umanità e regno dalla fauna ricchissima, dove i grandi predatori e le prede sono i protagonisti assoluti delle immagini di Pierluigi Rizzato.
Il profondo amore per la Natura e per gli animali contraddistingue il lavoro del fotografo, con i suoi colori saturi e le atmosfere magiche. La realizzazione di queste riprese coniuga una profonda conoscenza del comportamento animale, acquisita attraverso studi e ricerche specifiche. Gli scatti sono il frutto di una lunga e paziente attesa sul campo in cui il soggetto è seguito e osservato nell’attesa di renderlo protagonista di un’immagine originale. Emerge così il ritratto di una Natura che non manca di sorprendere e meravigliare, in grado di sensibilizzare l’uomo nei confronti dell’ambiente e del patrimonio che lo circonda
Pierluigi Rizzato, Italian photographer from Padua, photographer for over 40 years, is dedicated with particular passion and commitment to nature photography. The realization of his images combines a deep knowledge of the characteristics of the subjects, acquired through studies and research, as well as a patient observation in the field. He is a member of the Italian FIAF team, with which he won 14 NATURA FIAP World Cups (conquering 1st overall individual place in 2003 and 2016 and 2nd place in 2014) and 9 Odette Bretscher Trophies. He has won over 680 awards in international photography competitions in 62 countries around the world, as well as 150 national awards. In 2013 he was designated “FIAF Photographer of the Year” and on the occasion the book entitled “Istinto Animale – Animal instinct” was published. In 2014 he received the honor MFIAP (Maitre Photographe de la FIAP). In 2019 he received the EFIAP / d3 honor (Excellence de la Federation Internazionale de l’Art Photographique Diamond 3) – the first photographer in Italy together with Giuseppe Tomelleri to have achieved this milestone. In 2022, in Oman, he received the HonEFIAP honor, FIAP Honorary Excellence, the highest distinction of the FIAP (Federation de l’Art Photographique) in consideration of the work and technique in the field of photographic art.
He is the only Italian photographer to have the three highest FIAP honors.
He is currently Director of the FIAP Ethics Service.
“SAVANE AFRICANE” – African Savannahs
A journey to the great savannahs of the Serengeti ecosystem, located in northern Tanzania, the cradle of humanity and a kingdom with a very rich fauna, where large predators and prey are the absolute protagonists of Pierluigi Rizzato’s images.
The deep love for nature and for animals distinguishes the photographer’s work, with its saturated colors and magical atmospheres. The realization of these shots combines a deep knowledge of animal behavior, acquired through specific studies and research. The shots are the result of a long and patient wait in the field in which the subject is followed and observed while waiting to make him the protagonist of an original image. Thus emerges the portrait of a Nature that never fails to surprise and amaze, capable of making the humans aware of the environment and the heritage that surrounds him.
